During the 2015 – 2016 academic year, the Holroyd Howe Foundation exceeded the fundraising target of £12,000 and raised £15,000 for Millie’s Trust.

Millie’s Trust was created by Joanne and Dan Thompson, the parents of nine month old Millie Thompson, who tragically passed away in a choking incident in October 2012. The charity aims to make First Aid training available to everybody.

Holroyd Howe invited Joanne and Dan Thompson along with nine teams from our schools who really excelled at fundraising to an evening reception on Wednesday 30th November at Goodenough College, London to celebrate Holroyd Howe raising £15,000.00.

The evening was attended by over 50 members of Holroyd Howe, and began with a champagne and canape reception, followed by the awards and then plenty of delicious bowl food created by our chefs.

Ronan Harte, Managing Director presented award certificates, ranging from Bickley Park’s ‘Outstanding Level of Fundraising award’ for raising £525.00 from holding two bake sales and Alton Convent School’s ‘Fundraising Ideas Award’ for raising £277.50 by holding a pie sale and a raffle during an open day. The Northern Team were announced the winners of the ‘Regional Team Work Award’ for raising £2155 by doing various fundraising events together throughout the year.

Here’s a few pictures of some of our award winning fundraisers!
