On Thursday 1st December, The Queen visited Goodenough College, London to unveil a plaque to mark the approaching 60th anniversary of her opening William Goodenough House.

We provide the catering at Goodenough College, and feed the 700 students and members of the college who study a range of academic disciplines at many of London’s universities and colleges. The Queen has been associated with the College for many years.

Damian commented:
''The opportunity to provide food for the Queen is incredible. We knew that we wanted the cakes to look beautiful! We were so excited to be asked to join the line up and be given the opportunity to meet The Queen. I was so surprised that she stopped to talk to me! The queen asked me how long I have been with the college and I told her just over a year. The team had such a wonderful day, and it is certainly one that I will remember!''

Matthew Went, Operations Director commented: ''We are very proud to be associated with Goodenough College and especially delighted to be able to be part of the Queen’s visit to the College. The Queen has a special relationship with the College and has been patron since 1957.  The whole team did a fantastic job working extremely hard to deliver wonderful food for The Queen and all of Her guests.''
